ところで。Sparrow といえばver 1.0の正式版リリースが待たれる状況ですが、Sparrow ブログ最新記事にこんな記載があったので、併せて下にメモ。

Sparrow 1.0 is almost ready and will come with a few surprises. We have recently started a Private Beta. The last bugs are being fixed right now thanks to the precious help of a dedicated team of beta testers. The app should be submitted to the Mac AppStore at the end of the week.

簡単に言うと、正式版もうできてる！今週末には Mac AppStore にオッケー貰えるんじゃないかな。ってことらしいですよ。 それから、Mac AppStore には有料版と広告つき無料版の2種類が出るそうです。

Paid: Sparrow will cost $24,99 but early birds will benefit from the $19,99 introductory price.
Free: Sparrow Lite will be ad-supported. Carbon Ads is providing the nice ads you have certainly seen in the latest Beta version. The free version will allow one-account creation only.

てわけでこれまた簡単にまとめると、早起きは三文の徳ってことで有料版は早期限定$19,99！で、無料版は広告付きかつ1アカウントだけ利用可能。ということらしい。

正式版では、Gmail 以外のメールアカウントもサポートしてくる。のかどうかまだよく知らないんですが、たぶんしてくるでしょう。もしそうなったら、いよいよ本格的に使えそうです。
